JTIS Mini Farm Program- Seeds to Table

Recently, our enthusiastic learners got their hands dirty by planting kangkong (water spinach) as part of a hands-on learning experience. They enjoyed the fruits (or, in this case, leafy greens!) of their labour with Nasi Lemak Wednesday, as students savoured the delicious kangkong they had meticulously nurtured.

Critter Care Crusaders

This cultivates empathy, respect for living creatures, and a sense of stewardship towards the natural world. Students develop important life skills like responsibility, routine maintenance, and problem-solving, all while fostering a love for animals. They learn about proper animal handling, feeding routines, habitat enrichment, and responsible pet ownership.  Through observation and interaction, students gain valuable insights into animal behaviour, communication, and needs.
